LIT & Aesthetics carries a variety of FDA-approved Neurotoxins designed to temporarily improve moderate to severe lines and wrinkles in adults. Neurotoxin is injected into muscles just below the surface and temporarily immobilize the muscle that contribute to forehead wrinkles, frown and laugh lines, crow’s feet, and fissuring due to increased laxity in the skin.
This non-surgical, minimally invasive technique allows you to remain active with your busy schedule with very minimal post-procedure care and discomfort. Some clients may experience injection site redness, swelling, or bruising, which is typically minor and subsides within just a few hours of the procedure.
Within 2 weeks results will indicate a brighter, smoother complexion that helps you re-experience the skin you had in your younger years. Neurotoxins are safe for injection anywhere in the face, which is most common, and can be used for other therapeutic applications if approved by your provider. - Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet-rich Plasma, also known as autologous conditioned plasma, is a concentrate of platelet- rich plasma protein derived from whole blood, centrifuged to remove red blood cells, and assist in accelerating the healing of soft and hard tissue.
In other words, PRP is an all-natural solution, using your own stem cells and growth factors to treat areas in the face that show signs of aging, like under-eye hollows, improving dark circles and puffiness. PRP can also be used in areas to treat deflated cheek and the scalp for hair restoration. The process takes place by harvesting from your own blood supply using a simple butterfly needle and blood sample tubes. The samples are placed in a centrifuge, separated, extracted, and then placed back into your body.
PRP can be injected straight in to your desired area or used during microneedling skin care treatments. - pdo barbed threads
Polydioxanone (PDO) barbed thread lift is a great non-surgical cosmetic procedure for lifting and tightening laxed and sagging skin. This product is used in LIT’s Signature Non-Surgical FaceLift. This procedure uses a dissolvable suture for lifting, producing collagen, and rejuvenating the skin. PDO threads are FDA approved and safe with little to no side effects. The procedure consists of PDO barbed threads being inserted under the skin into desired areas to create an instant lift. The use of lidocaine prior to injecting ensures that patients are comfortable throughout the entire process. PDO lifts continue to improve over time as collagen is stimulated in the tissues. Common areas of insertion in the face area include cheeks, brow, and jawline. These areas of treat improve nasolabial folds, hooded eyelids, jowling, and marionette lines. PDO Mono Threds are the equivalent to Spanx® for the skin. These polydioxanone thread are considered smooth, non-barbed threads. They stimulate and produce collagen to help with the overall tone and texture of fine lines, wrinkles, and drastically improve crepey skin. PDO Mono threads can be added to almost any area of concern and combined with other injectables such as neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid-based fillers, as well as PDO barbed threads for maximum results!
KYBELLA® is a non- surgical FDA approved fat dissolving injectable used in adults to help eliminate the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” This injection harnesses the power of a synthetic deoxycholic acid and sodium deoxycholate, which mimics a naturally occurring molecule that is effective in breaking up and permanently eliminating fat molecules.
By injecting Kybella/PCDC directly into the submental area, and other areas of the body, it jumpstarts the breakdown of the fat cells beneath the skin as if it was a substance produced by your own body!
