Our Facial Treatments
- microneedling
Microneedling is an effective procedure used to create microchannels in the skin to help produce collagen and elastin and facilitate turn over cell production. This treatment is safe for all skin types and great for people struggling with acne scars, discoloration, pore size, and fine lines. During your appointment, a topical anesthetic will be applied to your face for 20 minutes before the treatment to ensure you comfort level is met. This procedure will leave your skin looking younger, brighter, and tighter. At LIT & Aesthetics, we choose from a variety of products with peptides and stem cells to microneedling in to the skin during your treatment in order to maximize your outcome. Three sessions of microneedling 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for best results. LIT & Aesthetics has carefully outlined a 3-staged microneedling plan, details below:
1st Session – Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP):
PRP therapy uses the infusion of concentrated platelets harvested from the patient’s blood to accelerate healing in a specific area. It contains two elements – plasma, the liquid portion of the blood, and platelets. The platelets play a vital role in healing and contain growth factors that stimulate cell reproduction and tissue regeneration in the treated area. Because the treatments use your own blood source, PRP is safe and a wonderful addition to microneedling. Microneedling with PRP/PRF effectively treats acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles, and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, large pores, uneven skin texture irregularities, and it helps to decrease the appearance of stretch marks.
2nd Session – Pep Factor:
Pep Factor for Skin is a proprietary blend of peptides and nutrients that may be beneficial to the hydration of the skin and the acceleration of fibroblast, which helps to increase collagen and elastin production. Results may be visible after one applications and results in brighter, more moisturized appearing skin. When comparing Pep Factor treatment with PRP/PRF microneedling session, studies have shown that Pep Factor has a higher effective outcome for overall results and duration.
3rd Session – Exomsomes (5 Billion in concentration):
Exosomes contain a high percentage of what makes stem cell therapy such an exciting frontier in regenerative medicine is based on the secretomes/exosomes that are contained within the stem cell. LIT & Aesthetics recognizes the power in microneedling exosomes in to the skin in order to harness numerous components (e.g. mRNA, cytokines, peptides, amino acids, growth factors, etc.) to stimulate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, reboot dysfunctional cells and promote tissue regeneration to improve their patients’ treatment results.
(Optional) 4th Session – PDO AfterGlo™ :
PDO AfterGlo™ is a hydrating skin booster made of Polydioxanone (PDO) in powder form and Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA can smooth rough surfaces and provide a protective layer to help skin retain moisture. It also strengthens skin to improve elasticity and resilience. PDO AfterGlo™ helps to reduce fine lines, moderate wrinkles, and improve skin texture abnormalities.
- TRY OUR get LIT & go BARE (gL&gB) MICRONEEDLING PROTOCOL
Our gL&gB microneedling protocol consist of 3 microneedling sessions 1 month apart using a different topical treatment during each session in order to achieve the highest result for your skin. This protocol is designed to rapidly boost collagen and elastin production; drastically improving the texture and tone of your skin. Following your 3-initial session, it is recommended to move to a maintenance schedule of 1 microneedling session per quarter. Additional facial services, such as dermaplanning and aqua gold facials are also recommended.
